Doing Justice

Doing Justice is a video project sponsored by Illinois Legal Aid Online to capture and share the stories of the attorneys and paralegals in Illinois who work every day to level the legal playing field for low-income individuals and families.

These stories are a way to help people – both inside and outside the legal aid community – understand the challenges inherent in this work, and why it so important.

The seven people featured on this video are just the beginning of this exciting project. Our goal is to capture many stories so we can develop a more complete picture of the joys and struggles of working in legal aid.

At the 2008 Legal Aid Advocates Conference, we hope that legal aid attorneys and staff members will stop by the video diaries booth and share their stories.
