| Speakers: | Kelly Seago, Esq. and Elizabeth Mazur, Esq. |
Kelly Seago, Criminal Defense Attorney, and Elizabeth Mazur, Civil Rights Attorney focussing on police misconduct, will demystify police practice, police reports, criminal misdemeanor procedure, and individual police officer background information. The presentation aims to share both procedural and practical realities.
The goal is to help attorneys handling eviction cases based on alleged criminal activities and give them the tools to:
1) challenge the version of the facts offered by police officers and their reports in vicarious liability eviction cases, and
2) learn whether a police officer has a history of false arrest, illegal search, or mistreatment of citizens/suspects.
