In this first lecture in James Chapman's "Preparation for Trial" series, he discusses an approach for the trial lawyer to ascertain that she or he has developed and is prepared to introduce proof to support each element of the cause of action in question. Mr. Chapman discusses how to present a prima facie case that will withstand a motion for a directed verdict at the conclusion of the plaintiff's case.
