Strategic planning for telephone systems is becoming more complicated as new technologies accelerate the adoption of advanced functionality and applications within LSC members. The use of call center, wireless, cellular, personal area networks and converged technologies (voice/video/wireless over Internet Protocol) are creating new pressures on both capital funding and operating cost requirements, and require practical plans to leverage these new technologies.

Steve Green, President of S.R. Green & Associates, and Zahid Masood, Associate Consultant, will address different strategic technology models that have been examined by LSC institutions and will discuss common successful principals that can be used to guide the strategic technology planning effort of the LSC members.
