The April 27th Disability Rights Consortium took place at Equip for Equality (20 North Michigan, Suite 300) from 9:30-11:00.

The topic for the meeting was confidentiality in the workplace. Speakers will be:

• Ann Fisher, Executive Director at AIDS Legal Council of Chicago, discussing the AIDS Confidentiality Act
• Lauren Lowe, Skadden Fellow at Equip for Equality, discussing confidentiality under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and
• John Whitcomb, Senior Attorney at Equip for Equality, discussing confidentiality under the state Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act and HIPAA.

Illinois attorneys participating in this session will be eligible for 1.5 hours of CLE credit.
