The moderator will be Steve Pflaum. Presenters include:

  • Mike Scodro on oral argument
  • Steve Pflaum and Wendy Muchman from ARDC on legal ethics
  • Alyssa Reiter on statements of fact
  • John Kennedy on appeals of injunctive relief
  • Hugh Griffin on standards of review, and
  • A judicial panel consisting of First District Justices Bertina Lampkin, Rodolfo Garcia, and Thomas Hoffman, and moderated by Supreme Court Justice Mary Jane Theis.

Two new members of the Seminars Committee, First District Law Clerks Alice Withaar and Michele Chesebro, provided invaluable assistance in identifying potential judicial panel members. Four hours of General CLE credit and one hour of Professionalism CLE credit. The presentation will also be webcast.

NOTICE: Free CLE for April 28 appellate seminar is only available for legal services staff attorneys. Legal services pro bono attorneys and other attorneys who are not legal services staff must register and pay registration fee at www.applawyers.org in order to receive CLE credit.
