Disability Rights Consortium meeting took place on Wednesday December 7th from 9:30-11:00 at Equip for Equality located at 20 North Michigan, Suite 300 in Chicago. The meeting focused on the intersection of advocacy on behalf of seniors and people with disabilities. Featured speakers included Thomas Wendt from the Center for Disability and Elder Law, David Vinkler from AARP Illinois, and Emily Byrd from the Jane Addams Senior Caucus.
