Position Description

           

Lawndale Christian Legal Center (LCLC) seeks dedicated law students to join its summer internship program. LCLC provides legal representation and wraparound services to youth in North Lawndale.

As a summer legal intern, you will work closely with the Lead Attorney in prepping cases, interviewing witnesses, attending hearings, and working with youth and their families. The summer internship is flexible and can be customized to your particular interests and schedule. 

LCLC staff and volunteers are passionate about using their talents and resources to help North Lawndale youth achieve socioeconomic justice. If you are interested and have questions about joining this team, please contact Jeanette Park Lee, Director of Operations, at jpark@lclc.net.

Position Requirements

• Currently enrolled in law school
• Available at least two days a week
• Proficient with Westlaw
• Active interest in exploring the criminal justice system and juvenile justice
