The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) is seeking nominations for the annual Kutak-Dodds prize. The prize honors equal justice advocates "who, through the practice of law, are contributing in a significant way to the enhancement of human dignity and quality of life of those persons unable to afford legal representation." Submissions will be accepted through April 4.
The 2003 Kutak-Dodds Prizes will honor two legal advocates for equal justice, one from the civil legal aid community and another from the public defense community. Each Prize carries a cash prize of $10,000.
For more information, or to submit a nomination, please visit NLADA's website at http://www.nlada.org/About/About_Awards_Kutak.
