The Legal Aid Bureau of Metropolitan Family Services holds a Child Support Enforcement Clinic on the third Tuesday of every month. The clinic is held at 3 p.m. at One North Dearborn, 10th floor. Volunteer attorneys from the Law Offices of Wes Cowell, P.C, staff the clinic. The criteria for clients to participate in the clinic are: client has custody and children are with the client; client has an address for the other parent; there is a final child support order in place and the other parent is in arrears; client is income eligible for legal services (125% of poverty guidelines); client is not currently represented by an attorney, and; there is not a pending divorce case. There CAN be a pending child support enforcement case. Clients can be referred to the clinic by having them call the CARPLS intake line at (312) 738-9200
