The Shriver Center's 2009 Poverty Scorecard, released today, grades the performance of each member of the United States Congress on the most important poverty-related issues that came to a vote in 2009. The purpose of the Scorecard is to hold Congress accountable for either advancing or derailing efforts to ensure equal opportunity for all Americans.
